We have teamed up with Centennial High School in Compton on the planting of 30-40 trees at the school in mid-October. Centennial is very sparsely planted, with little or no tree cover in most of its open spaces. The addition of 30-40 trees will make huge impact on the aesthetic appeal of the schoolyard and provide some much needed shade. We are working closely with the school in conjunction with TreePeople and our goal is to raise $5,000 for the project.
We will be hosting our first ever fundraising event in mid-September for the Centennial High School planting. Invitations will be sent out in the very near future…more details to follow.
